Pulau Kapas, I Founder what you are looking for

Finding that perfect beach spot can be difficult. But after all these years of traveling I can finally say "we have found perfection" and it's called Pulau Kapas. Located just 6 km from the Malaysian mainland off the east coast of the state of Terengganu lies this tiny hidden gem.  Wedged between renowned known islands like the Perhentians and Tioman, Pulau Kapas remains remarkably quiet allowing you to relax on deserted beaches but at the same time with just the right amount of tourism to have a laid back and chill social vibe. The waters surrounding the island are crystal clear and while snorkeling just off the shore we spotted black tip reef sharks, spotted leopard puffer fish, stingrays, enormous psychedelic clams, bump head parrot fish, and lots of nice hard coral.  The turquoise green water is cool and refreshing and even in low tide you don't have to walk miles to be able to swim. 

Encontrar esa playa perfecta no es fácil. Pero después de más de 10 años viajando por fin podemos decir "hemos encontrado la perfección" y se llama Pulau Kapas. Situado solamente 6 km de la costa esté peninsular del estado de Terengganu de Malasia encontrarás este paraíso. En la sombra de islas conocidas como las Perhentians, al norte, y Tioman, al sur, Pulau Kapas es increíblemente todavía un sitio que recibe pocas visitas permitiéndote encontrar playas desiertas pero a la vez con suficientemente turismo para tener un ambiente relax sin ser aburrida. Las aguas a su alrededor están limpias y cristalinas y puedes hacer snorkel desde la playa para ver tiburones de arrecife, rayas, peces globo, almejas gigantes de colores psycodelicos, peces loros enormes y buen coral. El agua  de color verde turquesa es muy refrescante y incluso en la marea baja no tienes que andar kilometres (como en muchas otras playas de asia) para que cubra más que los tobillos. 

With amazing sunsets, sugary sandy beaches, some decent choice of accommodation and restaurants, Pulau Kapas is a must for any traveller who is looking for that perfect, idyllic beach destination. Just one thing, lets keep this our little secret.

Con unas puestas de sol que te hipnotizan, playas de arena fina, acomodación y restaurantes para todos los gustos, Pulau Kapas es un destino perfecto e idílico. 

Solo una cosa, no lo contéis a mucha gente.
